About Indoor Plant Guide

I started this site because I killed a lot of plants before I learned how to keep them alive.

My first apartment had terrible light — a single north-facing window that barely let in enough sun to read by. I kept buying plants that the nursery said were "low light" and watching them slowly die. Turns out, "low light" to a nursery and "low light" to my apartment were two very different things.

I started reading everything I could find about indoor gardening, experimented with different species, and eventually figured out what actually works in less-than-ideal conditions. I built this site to share what I learned — the practical stuff that doesn't require a greenhouse or a horticulture degree.

I run a few other sites too (truck gear, personal finance, health calculators, real estate). They're all run by the same person — no editorial teams, no fake credentials. I'm not a master gardener. I'm just someone who loves plants and figured out what works through trial and error.
